ZOLTAN “ZOLY” “Z” CZUKAL, JR. age 69, beloved husband for 35 years of Kathy (nee King); loving father of Sara Czukal McBride (husband Wesley) and Lauren Czukal (William Johenning); cherished son of the late Zoltan and Silvia (nee Schindelar); dearest brother of Ilona Bellomo (husband Felice, deceased), Sabrina Kray (husband Matthew), and Theodore (wife Daria); dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle and friend of many; proceeded in death by his loving canine companion Cannoli.
Zoltan was born on November 22, 1953. He lived in the Cleveland area all his life. He worked in the Steel Industry throughout his career. In his years as a Lab Technician at Worthington Industries, he was respected for his dedication, precision, and work ethic. He also took great pride in his side job as an interior house painter. Zoltan was a talented musician and loved to play the guitar and keyboard. He enjoyed attending live music concerts whenever he could. You could often find him listening to his favorite bands on the home stereo system, sipping a strong cup of coffee and cracking jokes for the family. Zoltan was very handy and could fix just about anything. It wasn’t just his skills that made Zoltan special – he was a funny, charming, and caring person. He had a heart of gold, lived to help others and was always generous with his time and attention. Zoltan will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Contributions can be made in his honor to either the American Lung Association or to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
Celebration of Life Service Friday, August 18, 2023, at 11 AM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at Hillcrest Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Zoltan at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 4 – 8 PM.
