Yolanda Collinson

YOLANDA C. COLLINSON (nee Costanzo), aged 88 years, beloved mother of Marie, James (wife Deb) and the late John Watt Collinson, loving grandmother of Jessica Banker, Angela “Angel” and John Collinson, cherished daughter of the late Carl and Angela (nee Caputo) Costanzo, devoted sister of Jay Michaels (deceased), Joseph Costanzo (deceased) and Gloria Capt (husband Claude), treasured aunt, cousin and friend to many. Yolanda was born on November 22, 1927 in Cleveland. She was a 1946 graduate of John Adams High School and a 1950 graduate of Oberlin College. She lived most of her adult life in New Jersey. She was a 50 year member of the American Association of University Women (A.A.U.W.), served on the Board of Directors for The Salvation Army in Jersey City, was a member of the Friends of Ocean County Library, was a member of the Italian American Club in Ocean County, and did volunteer tax preparation for A.A.R.P. members.

Yolanda enjoyed her travels, with many to Europe. Living in New Jersey placed her close to Atlantic City, which was perfect for Yolanda. She enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends, and looked forward every Saturday to her retired ladies Saturday morning brunch. She loved all the holidays spent with her family and friends.
