Bill was born on December 25, 1942 in Cleveland and passed away suddenly on March 29, 2022. He was a resident of Munson Township for 42 years, formerly residing in North Olmsted. Bill graduated from John Marshall High School in 1961 and attended Fenn College. He worked in sales and management for a large transportation company. Bill was an active parishioner of St. Noel Catholic Church where he was a Eucharistic Minister, Sacristan, a member of Shared Hope (Lutheran and Catholic Dialogue), and Co-Founder of the St. Noel Neighbor to Neighbor Meal. Bill was also a 30-year member of Vintage Chevrolet Club of America and former member of the Classic Chevy Club. He was an active Member of the R.O.M.E.O.S. (Retired Old Men Eating Out) and the partner group, ROMEOS and Juliets. Their bond was so strong that during Covid Bill organized and ran a weekly zoom meeting. He loved restoring vintage cars and going on car tours with his Chevy friends. He had a special place in his heart for his beloved dogs. Bill’s family will fondly remember him suiting up to play Santa to hand out presents during Christmas celebrations, and laughing and joking while each family had their Christmas portrait with Santa taken. Bill will be remembered most of all as a People Person; he was sociable, friendly, giving, and generous and seemed to find a familiar face wherever he would go. He was dubbed by his neighbors as the Mayor of Carroll Drive. Bill was a funny guy who had a wonderful sense of humor and infectious laugh. He was a good friend and could be counted on to help in any way he could; spreading love, joy, and good values along the way. He will be greatly missed by many.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Bill to St. Noel Social Justice Fund or Rescue Village.
