William Storey

WILLIAM A. STOREY age 85, beloved husband for 64 years of Suzanne (nee Homner); loving father of Kathleen Storey (husband Michael Davidson) and Alfred A. (wife Lisa); devoted grandfather of Christa Fox (husband Jake), Evan Storey (wife Heather), Rachel Hauschild (husband John), Elliot Storey (wife Grace) and great-grandfather of Camryn and Dylan; cherished son of the late Alfred and Ida Wilma (nee Farley); dearest brother of the late Hazel Riedel, Edythe Buccilli, Evelyn Scanlon, and Edna “Sally” Cox; dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Bill was born on September 15, 1931 in Cleveland and passed away on September 30, 2016. He was a resident of Munson Twp. for 50 years, formerly of Wickliffe. Bill was a member of Local #16 Bricklayer Union. He graduated from Shaw High School. Bill married the love of his life Suzanne on October 11, 1952. He loved painting, history and was an avid reader. Bill will be remembered most as a hardworking, compassionate, respectful, and non-judgmental man. He had a good work ethic, a tender heart and a great sense of humor. Bill will be greatly missed.

Celebration of Life Service Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 10 AM at Riverview Church 13968 Chillicothe Rd., Novelty, OH 44072. Burial following at Maple Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Bill at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.)  THURSDAY 6-8 PM and FRIDAY 3-5 & 6-8 PM.
