William J. Morton

WILLIAM J. MORTON age 92, beloved husband of the late Laverne (nee Somers); loving father of Betsy Joliat and John (wife Barbara); devoted grandfather of Kiernan Reed (husband J.P.), Kylie Berry (husband Evan) and Laura Morton; dearest brother of Warren Morton and Mary Mann.

Bill was born on April 3, 1925 and passed away on May 4, 2017. He was a 4-year resident of Franklin, Tennessee previously of Lyndhurst. Bill was a WWII US Navy Veteran. He earned his Bachelors degree from Case Institute and worked as a Civil Engineer for Cuyahoga County Engineers. Bill was very social, he never met a stranger. He was intelligent, faithful and hardworking, with a dry sense of humor. Bill will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Celebration of Life Service Friday, May 12, 2017 at 11 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial following with Military Honors at Acacia Masonic Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Bill at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) THURSDAY 5-7 PM.
