WILLIAM M. HOMOLY, aged 85 years, beloved husband for 59 years to Nancy (nee Schreiber), dear father of Nancy Somers (husband Alex) and Margaret, loving grandfather of Alex Jr. (wife Marilyn), William and Ashley Somers, fond great-grandfather of Alex III “Tripp” and Charles.

Bill was a United States Army Veteran. He was a graduate of East Tech High School. He earned his Undergrad and Masters Degree from John Carroll University. Bill was a dedicated Cleveland school teacher for 40 years. Contributions in memory of Bill suggested to Gesu Parish Building Fund, 2470 Miramar Blvd., University Heights, Ohio 44118.

Relatives and friends are requested to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Gesu Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Luncheon following in McAuley Hall of Gesu Church. Burial Wednesday, September 24, 2014 in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (Rittman) at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Bill at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) on MONDAY from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
