William Gesten

WILLIAM M. GESTEN, Master Photographer, age 92, beloved husband for 63 years of the late Margaret A. (nee Brady); loving father of Barbara Fulgham (husband Tim, Sr) and Lynn Fosnot (husband Ron); devoted grandfather of Tim Fulgham, Jr (wife Debbie), Sunny Kelley and great-grandfather of Emily, Nathan, Anna and Lauren; preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters; dear uncle and great-uncle of many. WW II US Army Veteran.

Bill was born on July 21, 1923 and raised on Cleveland’s west side. He and his wife Marge settled in Cleveland Heights to start a family, then moved to Euclid in 1963. He was a Master Photographer and owner of Foto Arts Inc., a commercial photography studio, and Foto Lab Inc., a color development lab. He and Marge worked side by side until they sold the business to begin new adventures at their winter home in North Port, Florida. They were active in many clubs and travelled around the world, visiting China, Germany, Hungary and Mexico, to name a few. Bill passed away November 1, 2015 in Slovene Home, where he had made many new friends and had a smile and a song for everyone. His work ethic and love for family was inspiring. He enjoyed making people happy, and will be remembered by all for his great sense of humor.
