William Felberg

William A. Felberg, Jr. age 77, was born on April 1, 1939 in Cleveland to William A. Sr. and Marjorie (nee Dines) Felberg and passed away on April 3, 2016. He was the beloved husband for 54 years of Sandra L. (nee Farinacci); loving father of Michelle Carroll, Lynn Felberg (Jeanne), Stacey Sullivan (Dale), and William A. III (wife Jessica); devoted grandfather of Troy, Alex, and Brandon Carroll, Tyler, Ryan and Katlyn Felberg, Nicholas and Riley Sullivan; treasured brother of Susan Ferry (husband Richard, deceased); dearest brother-in-law of Gary Farinacci (wife Diane), James Farinacci (wife Kathie), and the late Gayle Farris; dear uncle and great-uncle of many. Survived by his canine companion Chewy. U.S. Army Veteran.

Bill was a lifelong resident of Newbury. He was a member of Newbury United Community Church where he was an usher, historian, moderator, and served on the board. Bill was involved in many clubs and activities, including starting Newbury Youth Football and Basketball programs. He was an avid sports fan and coach. Bill also loved classic cars, karate, outdoors and genealogy. He was artistic, enjoying painting and wood carving. Bill will be remembered by family and friends as funny, kind, and protective man. He would give the shirt off his back without a second thought. Bill was proud of his heritage, loved his family and friends and was loved by many. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.

Celebration of Life Service Saturday April 9, 2016 at 11 AM at Newbury United Community Church 14916 Auburn Rd., Newbury, OH 44065. Burial following with Military Honors at Newbury Center Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Bill at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) FRIDAY 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
