WILLIAM A. VANO, age 67; beloved husband of Patricia (nee Pitrone) and the late Kathleen (nee Borsi). Loving father of Jeffrey (wife Michele), David (wife Kerri), Brian Fowler (wife Meghan), Kevin Fowler, Amanda Jones (husband Chuck), and Matthew Fowler (wife Cassandra); devoted grandfather of Alex and Kyan Vano, Tyler and Autumn Fowler, Michael Long, Isabella and Kyle Jones and Addison Foote; dearest son of the late Andrew and Genevieve (nee Kavalecz); cherished brother of James (wife Carol, deceased) of VA, Mary Jo, Frances of TX and the late Michael. U.S. Army National Guard Veteran.

Bill loved time spent with his family. He enjoyed playing cards, golf and traveling. He is described as mellow, laid back, ago with the flow guy and a great sense of humor

The family suggests contributions in Bill’s name to Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 8, 2010 at St. Clare Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Burial in Knollwood Cemetery at a later date.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Bill at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID 4600 MAYFIELD RD (just east of Green Rd) on Sunday, November 7, 2010 from 3-7 PM.
