William A. Strauss

William A. Strauss, age 85 of Upper Arlington, died suddenly May 7, 2013. He was born July 20, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Anna M. (nee Klemencic) and John L. Strauss. He was a proud W.W. II U. S. Navy Veteran. He received his PhD in Aeronautical Engineering from The Ohio State University where he was a Professor of Mathematics and a research advisor in the rocket research laboratory for graduate level students. In addition, he conducted analysis and research for the Division of Planning Studies at the university.

He is survived by his brother John Strauss of Florida, Charles Strauss of Wickliffe, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
