WILLIAM A. “BILL” CLARK, aged 84 years, beloved husband of the late Dorothy (nee Harrison) and the late Margaret (nee McGuire), dear father of Jessie Burgess (husband Daniel), William G. (deceased), John (wife Nancy), Andrew (wife Noelle), James Angel (wife Pam), Joy Gilchrist (husband Ted) and Jill Bollinger (husband John), loving grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of 13, devoted brother of Gerald (wife Carol) and the late Richard and Albert. Mr. Clark was a United States Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict.

William “Bill” Clark was born on November 29, 1934 in Darlington, RI., and passed away July 16, 2019 in Barberton, OH. He was a resident of Mayfield Heights since 1963. Bill belonged to Bethlehem Baptist in Orange Village since 1963. At the church he was a soloist, member of the choir, served as treasurer and sometimes a Sunday school teacher. Bill belonged to and retired from the Umpire Association and rejoined in 2003. He started a small printing press in his basement as a hobby while he was a Thermographer. Bill attended Pawtucket Vocational School in Rhode Island. He worked as a printer at MPI, formerly known as Margaret’s Printing, and then started working for Regency Thermographers in 1976. Bill enjoyed umpiring for little league. He loved baseball. His family and church meant the world to him. He will be missed.

Funeral services Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the funeral home at 11 AM. Burial following with military honors in Crown Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Bill at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) MONDAY 4-8 PM.
