Wayne Giering

WAYNE G. GIERING, aged 83 years, passed away on July 28, 2009, beloved husband for 62 years to Janice (nee Potts), dear father of Richard (of California) and the late LeeAnn, grandfather of Orion (of Arizona).

Mr. Giering was a forty year employee of The Wheeling & Lake Erie, Nickel Plate, Norfolk Western and Norfolk Southern Railroads, and was an avid golfer. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 74947, Cleveland 44101-9927.

Services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009 at the funeral home at 2:00 PM with the Rev. William Lucht, officiating. Private interment in Acacia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Wayne at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) on Saturday, August 1, 2009 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM.
