WAYNE E. BARTEL, age 86 joined his beloved wife Sylvia (nee Pink) on Monday May 21, 2007. Wayne s loving children will cherish his memory. Donna Tretock (husband John), Lynne B. Taylor of Cleveland, and Susan B. Rekowski (husband Olaf) of Richmond, VA. Wayne was the dear Grandfather to Kelly Cherni, John Tretock, Jill Girad, Derek and Brittany Taylor, Justin and Chelsea Rekowski and great-grandfather of five. Devoted son of the late Wilbur and Gertie (nee Werwage). He was born in Cleveland, but lived the last 16 years in Richmond, VA. He loved animals, nature, jazz, dancing, golf and poker. His charming, bright and funny personality made him hard to resist. Wayne was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran based in London.
