Warren Snodgrass

WARREN W. SNODGRASS age 96, loving father of Glenn “Mike” Snodgrass and Kathy Sue Palmer; devoted grandfather of Tracey Zahoransky (husband Steve) and great-grandfather of Sarah, Jacob, and Samuel Warren; cherished son of the late Joseph and Mable (nee Walker); dearest brother of Joyce Snodgrass, and the late Margaret Simmons and Agaitha Thornton. U.S. Army Veteran.

Warren was born September 30, 1921 in Nitro, WV, and died January 6, 2018. An Army veteran, Warren was stationed at Pearl Harbor during WWII. Later he worked for GM Fisher Body for 30 years, and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the American Legion.

An avid outdoorsman, Warren enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and gardening. He treasured time with his grandkids, especially bike riding, barbecues, picnics, and campfires. He was also a dedicated Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. Warren was adventurous, creative, and independent, and could fix anything. He was a strong, hardworking man and will be dearly missed.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Chapel service with military honors will take place on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11 am at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY OF CHARDON (formerly Ritondaro) 126 SOUTH ST. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square).
