Wanda P. Wilson

Tribute Service for Wanda P. (Botteicher) Wilson, 85, will be Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM, at Calvary Assembly of God, 28870 Chardon Rd., Willoughby Hills. Mrs. Wilson died Jan. 19 at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima, Ohio.

She was born on Dec. 23, 1925 in Pitcairn, PA. She recently moved to Alger, Ohio previously residing in Eastlake. Wanda was very proud of her career teaching over 28 years at Broadmoor School in Mentor. She volunteered her time and enjoyed being a member of Calvary Assembly of God. Wanda is survived by her son Rev. Randall (Sandra) Wilson of Alger, Ohio, granddaughters Heather Ashley (Aaron) Bowman of Toledo, Lynna Joy Benham and great-granddaughter Mya Joy Benham of Alger, Ohio; niece Suzanne (Bob) Dodd and nephew Walter (Lisa) Botteicher and many other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her siblings Carrie Wirzylo, Thomas and Duane Botteicher.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Wanda on Friday from 6-8 PM at The DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Rd. (between Bishop and Rt. 91) and Saturday from 10 AM until time of service (11:00 AM) at Calvary Assembly of God. Burial will follow the Tribute Service at Lake View Cemetery.
