Walter Holmes

WALTER J. HOLMES, aged 89 years, beloved husband for 62 years to the late Helen M. “Mimi” (nee Larson), dearest father of Ginny Waters (husband Jay) and Gary, cherished grandfather of Heather Waters, M.D. (husband Jared Tomlinson) and Brit Waters (wife Andrea).

Mr. Holmes was a life-time member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, a member of VASA, Nobel Monitor Lodge #130, and the Acacia Masonic Lodge.

Contributions in memory of Walter suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland 44119; or to the Nobel Monitor Lodge, c/o Ellana Miklos, 5731 SOM Center Rd., Solon, 44139.

Memorial services Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 3740 Mayfield Rd., Cleveland Hts., at 3:00 P.M. Private Entombment in Knollwood Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Walter immediately following the service at the church. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory.
