Walter K. Glover “Toonie”, beloved companion and life partner of Elva Heath; loving father of daughters, Scarla Smith, Linda Gvora, and son, Jamie Glover, devoted grandfather of Michael Blake Leonetti and Madison Glover, passed away at the age of 83, on Friday, October 16, 2020.
Walter was born on October 28, 1936 in Chelyan, West Virginia to the late Eddie Glover, Sr. and Mathurian (nee Williams); dearest brother of the late Eddie Glover, Jr., Donald Glover (wife Lora), Franklin D. Glover, Lola Louise Casto, Lila Mae Ferrel; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.
Walter grew up in West Virginia, relocated to Cleveland, Ohio in 1954. He worked as an assembling line worker at Fisher Body in Euclid for thirty years. His passion was hunting, fishing, gardening, working on cars and attending classic car shows. His favorite sports were watching the Cleveland Indians Baseball and WWE Wrestling with his son. Walter was a kind-hearted, compassionate and generous man. He found happiness in hanging out in his garage with his friends, playing guitars and singing country songs. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He will dearly be missed by all who knew him.

Celebration of Life Service Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 12 Noon at The DeJohn Funeral Home & Crematory of Chesterland, Burial following at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Walter at The DeJohn Funeral Home & Crematory of Chesterland, 12811 Chillicothe Road (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) Tuesday, October 27, 10AM-12 Noon.
