VIRGINIA M. SUAZO (nee Stephansen), age 87, beloved wife for 68 years of Robert M.; loving mother of Barbara Principe (husband Joseph, deceased), Robert C., Doreene Zelch (husband James, MD), Donna Iacobacci (husband Patrick) and Carla Hudock (husband Paul, MD); devoted grandmother of Jennifer Karabinus (fiancé Dave Morgan), Joseph M. Principe, Laura Audino (husband Joseph), Christopher and Benjamin Suazo, Ryan Schmidt, Hannah and Taylor Iacobacci, Calli, Connor, Creighton and Chase Hudock and great-grandmother of 7; dearest sister of Carol Knapp, Bonnie Hoffman and Charles Stephansen (wife Helga); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Virginia was born on October 13, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois and passed away on September 15, 2016 in Brecksville, Ohio where she has lived since 2013. Virginia previously lived in Mayfield Heights and was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church for 60 years. She was an admitting officer for Mt. Sinai Hospital. Virginia was a member of the St. Clare Bowling League and also enjoyed ballroom dancing, the theater and playing the slot machines at the casino. She loved spending time with her family, especially at Christmas and Thanksgiving. Virginia was a vibrant, loving, kind, compassionate, outgoing, giving and selfless person who will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are requested to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at St. Clare Catholic Church 5659 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst, OH 44124 at 10:30 AM. Burial following at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Virginia at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) MONDAY 3-5 & 6-8 PM. Cremation to follow by DeJohn Crematory.
