VIOLA M. ANDERA (nee Jelenic), age 94; beloved wife of the late Edward; loving daughter of the late Peter and Ann (nee Bardar) Jelenic; dear sister of Milan Jelenic, Goldie Koezel and the late Helen Domitor, Maryanne, Nicholas, Anne, John, and Peter Jelenic, and Julie Cooke; cherished and fond aunt, great aunt and great great aunt of many.
Viola was born on July 27, 1919 in Cleveland, Ohio and died on September 13 surrounded by her loving family in Chardon. She was a former resident of Willoughby Hills. Viola loved the theater and also loved to sing. Her hobbies included sewing, baking and reading. She dedicated most of her life caring for her husband. She worked at various companies over the years, including TRW. She also modeled and was a camp counselor.
In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions be made in Viola’s memory to Julie Billliart School 4982 Clubside Rd. Lyndhurst, OH 44124. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church 401 North Street, Chardon at 11:30 AM. Burial following All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Viola at THE DEJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY OF CHARDON (formerly Ritondaro) 126 SOUTH ST. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) TUESDAY 3-7 PM.
