Vinko Zalac

Vinko Zalac, (71) of Wickliffe, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born November 1, 1945 in Croatia. He worked for Enterprise Welding for 15 years. He was a dedicated, hard worker. He was very handy and able to fix almost anything. He always put his family first and loved them dearly.

Vinko is survived by his loving wife, Dragica; his dearest daughters Helen Cindric (Milan) and Barbara Katic (Mile); his cherished grandchildren: Gabriella and Nicholas Cindric, Martina and Luka Katic; his siblings: Ive (Marica) Zalac, Jelena (Ivica) Opat, Milan (Ivanka) Zalac, and Zvonko “Braco”; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Pave and Bare (Kalic) Zalac.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Vinko at the DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Road (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91), Thursday, Dec. 22 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Friday, 10 AM at St. Paul Croatian Church, 1369 E. 40th Street, Cleveland. Interment All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
