Vinko Sugar, 74, of Euclid, passed away surrounded by family on March 13, 2021. He was born in Sutivanac, Istra, Croatia on Jan. 5, 1947. Vinko was proud of his Croatian heritage and an active member of numerous social clubs. He was the life of every party as a prankster, dancer, musician and singer. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Zorka; his children: Elvis (Maite), Eddie (Lisa) and Kristina; his grandchildren: Ian, Isabella, Cecilia, Mila, Alejandro, Melva and Pablo; his siblings: Fuma, Tone, Petar, Ana, Jakov and Slavica; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents: Anton and Ivana; and 6 brothers and sisters.
Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Vinko at the DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28990 Chardon Road (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91), Tuesday, March 16 from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass, Wednesday, 10AM at St. Paul Croatian Church, 1369 East 40th Street, Cleveland (Please Meet at Church). Interment All Souls Cemetery in Chardon. Masks required and social distancing and occupancy restrictions will be enforced.
