VINCENT P. MANCUSO, aged 90 years, dearly beloved husband for 64 years to Dorothy (nee Motta), dear father of Anthony Sr. (wife Jackie) and Vincent, loving grandfather of Tonya Doppelhauer, and Anthony Jr., T.J. (wife Erin), Brent and Lisa Mancuso, cherished great-grandfather of Tiffany, Cheryl, Tabatha, Tony III, Tamara, and Ava, treasured great-great-grandfather of 5, devoted brother of Michael A. (wife June), Mary and the late Anthony. Vince retired early in 1958 due to advancing blindness. He devoted himself to community affairs, earning many awards from civic and social groups. Among his memberships and awards: past-president of Greater Cleveland Chapter Knights of Columbus, Grand-Knight of Gilmour Council K. of C., in 1992 elected Grand Commander of Alhambra Carmona Caravan # 75, member of University Lodge #192 I.S.D.A., Knight of Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine, and member of Collinwood Memories Club, former member of Heights Lions Club transferring to So. Euclid Lions Club in 1980, established the Lions Eye Clinic at St. Vincent Charity Hospital, received ‘Exemplary Citizen ‘ award from the Lions Club, the 1960 Outstanding Man of the Year Award from the Italian Sons and Daughter of America, past general chairman of Columbus Day Parade and Republic of Italy, and served on the Board of Gilmour Inc.Banquet, received The Cavaliere Award from the Republic of Italy, and served on the Board of Gilmour Inc.
