Mass of Christian Burial for Victor J. Nesnadny 91, of Kirtland will be held 12 noon Friday October 17, 2014 at Divine Word Church 8100 Eagle Rd. Kirtland, OH 44094.
Mr. Nesnadny and his wife Bernice owned the Yesteryear Shop in Kirtland for 50 years. He was an expert wood and metal craftsman repairing and restoring valuable furniture, lamps, chandeliers and cast individual brass hardware to duplicate missing or broken pieces. He was a founding member of the Historical Engine Society. He collected and restored old tractors and engines, including a Model A Ford and 1954 Chevrolet pick-up truck. He was an avid bird watcher and had a flock of homing pigeons that he used to race. He loved his Labrador Retrievers, Newfoundland dogs and workshop cats.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years Bernice (Bohacek); brothers Joseph and Clement “Jay” (wife Carol) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Stefina (Kubinec) and Clement; sister Lorene Kaleal and brother John.

Family will receive friends at the church from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. one hour before mass. Interment will be in Kirtland South Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial donations in Victor’s name to the Historical Engine Society P.O. Box 945 Burton, OH 44021.
