ARCHANGEL age 73, beloved husband for 50 years of Nancy (nee Shafer); loving father of Victor (wife Anna) and Clint (wife Tina); devoted grandfather of Rebecca Verdone, Liam and Logan Archangel; cherished son of the late Victor A. and Ethel (nee Race); dearest brother of Roseann Archangel-Gunn (husband Wally); treasured brother-in-law of Bill and Pai Shafer, Karen and Rick Ebert, Mary Lou and George LaCava; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.
U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.
Victor was born on November 25, 1947 in Cleveland and passed away on October 12, 2021. He was a resident of Willoughby Hills since 1974, previously residing in Warrensville Heights. Victor graduated from Warrensville Heights High School in 1965 and earned his associate degree from Tri-C. He worked as a sales manager for Cleveland Wire Cloth. Victor enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball, fishing, camping, and boating. He was a passionate cook, loved nature and bird watching. Victor loved cars, especially restoring them and drag racing in his younger years. He will be remembered most as a loving, social, and friendly man who gave everyone a nickname. Victor was devoted to his family and had a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Victor to Wounded Warrior Project or your favorite charity.
