Verna Bertagnolli

VERNA T. BERTAGNOLLI (nee Sendek), 95, of Shaker Heights, Ohio, passed away Jan. 13, 2016 at Brookdale Rockefeller Senior Living Center in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. She was born on Dec. 13, 1920 in Windber, PA. She was the beloved wife for 62 years to the late Alfred N. “Fred”, dearest mother of Patricia Friedhoff (husband Herb) (of Johnstown, PA.), Joseph (deceased) and David (deceased) (wife Susan), loving grandmother of 5 and great-grandmother of 7, cherished daughter of the late John and Mary (nee Pavlosky) Sendek, fond sister of John and Richard Sendek, Delores Bunting, and the late Bernard, Dennis, Edward, George and Robert Sendek, dear sister-in-law of Mildred Bertagnolli and Erma Zetkulich.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Verna suggested to any Cancer Research Program or to a charity of your choice.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 340 Union St., Bedford, at 10 AM. Burial in Beaverdale, PA. Arrangements entrusted to the DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID.
