Twila Stuart

TWILA MAY STUART (nee Bierman) age 94, beloved wife for 63 years of the late Donald; loving mother of Heather (husband John) VanVliet, Holly (husband Paul) Speyer, and Marshall (wife Shannon); devoted grandmother of Melanie (husband Doug), Melissa, Kendall (wife Tracy), Bradley, Wyatt (wife Harley), Dakoda and great-grandmother of Grady and Elise “Ellie”; cherished daughter of the late William and Sylvia (nee Kidd) Bierman; dearest sister of the late Dallas (wife Katherine); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Twila was born on March 4, 1927, in Cleveland and passed away on August 2, 2021. She was a resident of Chesterland her entire life and lived in the house her father built 66 years ago. Twila was a proud Homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and baking. She froze and canned veggies from her garden and was always baking pies and cakes. Twila was also an expert seamstress. She found motivation and love in her dog, Summer for 15 years. Twila taught her children to work hard and use many of the skills instilled in them. She was devoted to her family and helped with the grandchildren when her kids needed a helping hand. Twila will be dearly missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Twila to Hospice of the Western Reserve or Geauga County Humane Society.
