Todd R. Elchesen

TODD R. ELCHESEN age 56, loving father of Alex, Adam, and Eric (Shelby); devoted grandfather of Cole; cherished son of the late Ronald Elchesen and Lynette Elchesen (nee Houk); dearest brother of Tamiee (Jeff) Lamson; dear uncle to Brandi; longtime close friend of Lori Alesci; and companion to his beloved dog Pugsly. 

Todd was born on March 23, 1968, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was employed by the US Coast Guard as a civilian worker and took great pride in his work. Music was an integral part of his life, especially the genre of glam rock in the 1980s, more specifically, hair metal bands. Todd also had a green thumb and grew a variety of vegetables and flowers in his garden. He loved being out on the water, spending hours on his boat with his family, and decorating his family's home fantastically for every holiday. A man with a sense of humor, Todd cared deeply for everyone he met, openly wearing his heart on his sleeve. He also never hesitated to take the time out of his day to help others whenever they needed it. 

With a heavy heart, we announce Todd passed away on January 6, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of incredible and unending compassion. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD.
