Timothy C. Dejohn

TIMOTHY C. DeJOHN age 72, loving father of Timothy (wife Denise), Anthony, Benjamin, and Michael (wife Katherine); devoted grandfather of Olivia, Isabela, Niyah, Ava, and Sylvie; cherished son of the late Anthony and Algean (nee Blaha); dearest brother of Diane (Ovens) Niederst (husband James), Frances Wagner (husband Frank), Patricia Jones (husband Gary), and Corinne DeJohn (Lou Bitsko); loving companion of Mary Lynn Gattozzi; former husband of Laura DeJohn Triscaro (nee Hensch); dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend of many. U.S. Army Veteran.

Tim was born June 2, 1945 in Cleveland and passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at his son’s home surrounded by family. He was a life-long resident of Mayfield Heights and a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Tim was a member of the Eagles Club in Chagrin Falls and the Pipefitters Local 120 in Cleveland. He became the owner of his own home improvement business after attending Fenn College. Tim was known for his love of golf, fishing, bocce, Rock N Roll and car shows. He was a free spirit who loved life and was extremely loyal and dedicated to his family. Tim will be remembered most as being social, outgoing, funny and witty. He had a big heart and was always the life of the party. Tim will be dearly missed.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Relatives and friends are invited to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, February 24, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 6850 Mayfield Rd, Gates Mills at 10 AM. Military Honors following at the Church. Burial will take place at a later date at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Tim at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) FRIDAY 3-8 PM. Prayer and Eulogy Service at 7:30 PM.
