Celebration of Life Service for Thomas C. Sivo, 75, will be 10 AM on Friday, January 31, 2014 at the DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Road (between Bishop Road & Rt. 91). Services conducted by son, Thom Sivo.

Tom died on January 25, 2014 at Hillcrest Hospital. He was a resident of Willoughby Hills for 23 years after moving from Wickliffe. Tom was a retired purchasing agent for the Mill-Rose Company and a member of the Wickliffe Auxiliary Police. He loved to travel and take bus trips all over the United States. He also love to take care of the farm, horses and chickens. He will be remembered as a kind person with a big heart who was generous with his time, a care giver and a selfless man. He was a hard worker and lived his life for his family.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Beverly (nee Debelak); sons Thomas (wife Mary) of Middleburg Heights and Michael (wife Laura Surovi D.V.M.) of Willoughby Hills; daughter Kathleen Sivo (Rick) of Wickliffe; grandchildren Adria and Annie; sister Marsha Frieling (husband Paul) of AZ; and special friends Ron and Nancy Lewis. He was also the dearest brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle of many and the dear companion of Lulu, Champion, Cinnamon and all his chickens.

Thom was preceded in death by his parents Thomas C. & Hazel (nee McKenzie).

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Tom at the funeral home Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial will follow the service at All Souls Mausoleum, Chardon, OH.
