Thomas "Tommy" "Led" "Roscoe" Maresco

THOMAS E. MARESCO age 74, beloved husband for 32 years of the late Kathleen (nee Longfield); cherished son of the late Edward and Kathleen (nee Deinhart); dearest brother of Patricia (wife Mary), Kathleen and Kevin Maresco; dear uncle of Sara (husband Chris), Erin, and Shaelin Maresco (husband Anthony Jasany) and great-uncle of Teagan, Quin and Sadie. Survived by his feline fur babies Claymore, Thunder and Gunner. U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran receiving the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Combat Infantry Badge, and more.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 6, 1950, Thomas graduated in 1968 from Euclid High School and attended Cuyahoga Community College. Summoned by Uncle Sam, he served in the Army in Vietnam in the 3/5 Calvary Black Knights. Returning home to the US, Thomas pursued a career and excelled as a CAD designer. Aided by his sense of humor, he never knew a stranger and was fascinated in meeting people during his travels and cruises. An active member of the Vietnam Veterans of America. He had a passionate interest in military history. He was also a loyal fan of college football, specifically Ohio State. During leisure time, he played the drums, read, built models, listened to classic rock, and enjoyed anything involving cars. Thomas was deeply devoted to his family and friends. This thoughtful, kind, and caring gentleman passed away on October 24, 2024 leaving behind wonderful memories by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Thomas to Vietnam Veterans of America.

Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors Monday, November 4, 2024 at 6:30 PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory. Burial to be held at a later date at Lake View Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Thomas at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4th, 3:00-6:30 PM.
