THOMAS J. KREBS, Jr., age 78; cherished husband for 57 years of Patricia (nee Fasciano); dearly loved father of Scott (wife Margaret), Kelli Conley (husband Terence), Kimberly (Cherny) Adams (husband William), Kasey Krebs, Kristen Brotzki (husband Peter) and Braden (wife Julie); devoted grandfather of Kent, Tate, Tera, Brennan, Dana, Garrett, Quinn, Christopher, Aaron, Jonathan, Brett and great-grandfather of Grayson; dearest brother of Richard (wife Rita) and Elaine Reilly (husband James); dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend of many. U.S. Army Veteran.

For the last 24 years, Thomas lived in Auburn and was a member of Holy Angels Church during those years. He attended Xavier University on a full football scholarship from Cathedral Latin High School and was a sports enthusiast with his favorites including following his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and the Cleveland Indians. He also had a love for following the stock market. He owned and operated Krebs Insurance Agency for 42 years. After his retirement, Tom loved to work on his 42 acre farm and planted a fruit orchard there. Tom will be remembered as a quiet and very loyal man. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Tom’s memory to Church of the Holy Angels or Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St. Clair Ave. Cleveland, 44110.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, January 24, 2014 at 11 AM at Church of the Holy Angels 18205 Chillicothe Rd. (Rt. 306), Bainbridge 44023. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Tom at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 3-5 and 6-8 PM AND AT CHURCH OF THE HOLY ANGELS FRIDAY 10 AM UNTIL TIME OF MASS.
