THOMAS J. GENTILE age 65, beloved husband for 42 years of Catherine (nee Fasham); loving father of Matthew (wife Elise), Thomas, Jr. (wife Katie) and Christopher (wife Alicia); devoted grandfather of Kyra, Gabriella, Nathan, Brady, Giuliana, and Francesca; cherished son of the late Donald, Sr. and Catherine (nee Walsh); dearest brother of Donald, Jr. (wife Kathy) and Rosemarie Gentile; treasured brother-in-law of Cindy and Don Kless, Beth and Paul Spicuzza, Mary Lynn and Charlie Cross; dear nephew, uncle, cousin and friend of many.
Thomas was born January 7, 1953 and passed away on April 17, 2018. Tom was a resident of Willoughby Hills for 22 years and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake for 42 years. He graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in 1971. Tom attended Cleveland State University in 1975 and then earned his Master’s Degree at John Carroll University in 1984. He spent many years as the treasurer of BP and was the CFO of WCI Steel. Tom was the proud owner and operator of Beacon CFO. He enjoyed coaching CYO basketball for over 30 years, VASJ, NDCL basketball and Euclid Boys League Baseball. Tom in his free time loved to golf and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. He took much pleasure in traveling, some of his most memorable trips were to Venice, Italy and London, England. Tom also looked forward to the family trip to Myrtle Beach. He was a strong, driven, and hardworking man. Tom will be dearly missed by all.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 12 NOON at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Tom at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 2-4 & 5-8 PM.
