THOMAS W. GRENWIS, JR. age 73, beloved husband for 51 years of Beverly (nee Csorba); loving father of Thomas W. III, Christine Hodgson (husband Roy), and James (wife Jennifer); devoted grandfather of Amanda Hodgson and Christian; cherished son of the late Thomas W. Sr. and Margaret (nee Bremer); dearest brother of twins Barbara House (husband Dean) and Cathy Woolnough, Geraldine McMyler (husband Charles, deceased), Therese Woodcraft (husband Bruce) and Richard; dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle and friend of many. Survived by his feline companion, Princess.

Thomas was born on March 19, 1947 in Cleveland and passed away on April 28, 2020. He was a life-long resident of Cleveland Heights. Tom graduated from Cathedral Latin High School in 1965 and attended John Carrol University. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, St. Ann Catholic Church and Gesu Catholic Church. Tom worked at Severance Lanes Bowling Alley as a manager. He bowled 16 perfect 300 games and a number of 800 series. Tom loved bowling and was a sports fan who especially enjoyed the Cleveland Indians and car racing. He will be remembered most as a kind, thoughtful, friendly, social and outgoing man who had a sense of humor. Tom will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Tom to American Cancer Society or Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Private Prayers of Christian Burial will be held with burial following at Whitehaven Memorial Park Cemetery. A Memorial Mass and Celebration of Tom’s life to be announced at a later date. Arrangements by THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID.
