THOMAS J. GORDON age 57, beloved husband for 10 years of Laura (nee Delsanter-Ward); loving father of Monica Brooks (husband Harrison), Thomas, Jr. (wife Theresa), Samantha Gordon (fiancé Dominic McKinley), and Phillip; devoted grandfather of 11; cherished son of Beverly (nee Horrocks) and the late John; dearest brother of June VanDenHaute (husband Donald), John, Teri, Sharon Migchelbrink (husband Brian), James (wife Cathy), Sheila Riberdy (husband Joseph), and Patrick (wife Shelley); treasured son-in-law of Marie Ward; dear brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle of many. U.S. Army Veteran.

Thomas J. Gordon was born on March 20, 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away on October 28, 2018 surrounded by his family. He resided in Eastlake but was previously from the westside and Mentor. A proud Veteran, Tom served in the United States Army. He received a degree in Criminal Justice from Ashland University, and worked as a Safety Director for Voss Aerospace. In his free time Tom enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, watching the Cleveland Browns, listening to rock-n-roll and cooking. As a member of the War Hogs of Lake County, he was able to enjoy a lot of time on his bike with his wife and friends. Tom had a way of making everyone feel welcome through his funny sense of humor. He was intelligent and strong willed. Tom was truly an awesome man and hero to all who knew him, and for that he will be dearly missed. 

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 3:30 PM at The Lyndhurst Community Center, 1341 Parkview Dr., Lyndhurst, OH 44124, where family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Tom from 2-3:30 PM. A private burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio. Arrangements by DeJohn Funeral Homes and Crematory.
