Thomas Foster

THOMAS D. FOSTER, age 58; beloved husband for 32 years of Leigh A. (nee Wallauz); loving father of Thomas E. and Sarah; cherished son of Martha A. (nee Woodley) and the late Gilbert C.; dearest brother of Ellen Reilly (husband Frank) and Todd (wife Mary) and brother-in-law of Glenn and Patricia Wallauz; devoted uncle of Sherry and Joseph Mohner, Annie and Cliffton Harstine, Shawn Reilly, Samantha Wallauz, Jake and Kelly Foster and great-uncle of Reilly, William and Rose; treasured godfather of Lindsey Sloe and Mia Maggliazzo; dear friend of many.

Tom was a Cardiovascular Assistant/RN at Hillcrest Hospital for 25 years after working as a paramedic and firefighter in Wickliffe for 11 years. A graduate of Wickliffe High School, Tom got his Bachelor of Science degree from Cleveland State University and medical degree at American University of the Caribbean. He was a resident of Wickliffe for 30 years after moving from Willoughby and a member of St. Noel Catholic Church and the Willoughby Masonic Lodge. Tom enjoyed collecting trains, listening to classical music and loved visiting Disney World. He will be fondly remembered as a generous, kind, loving husband and a dedicated father who loved life.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, August 22, 2013 at St. Noel Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Tom at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) WEDNESDAY 2-5 & 6-9 PM.
