THOMAS C. CIOLFI age 92, beloved husband of 49 years to the late Mary Ciolfi (nea Fitros Saviolis); dearest father to Thomas Jr. (wife Marlene) and the late Kathleen Hunter (husband George, deceased); dearest step-father to Elaine Smith and Joanne (husband Jerry) Bertram; dedicated grandfather to Paula (husband Christopher) Aiken, Michael Ciolfi, Brian Dancik, Michael (wife Christina) Bertram, Allyssa Bertram and Christopher Smith; proud great-grandfather to Meredith Aiken, Sophia and Lily Dancik and Theodore Bertram; cherished son of the late Quintinliano and Francesca (nee D’Errico); dearest brother of Frances D’Rummo and the late Mae, Dan, Fay, Melba, Lil, Quinn, Justin, Joe and Lena; uncle Tommy to many nieces and nephews; U.S. Navy Veteran.
Tom was born in Cleveland, Ohio, graduated from Collinwood High School and served in the United States Navy. He drove a school bus for children with special needs and had a special place in his heart for individuals with developmental disabilities. Tom was a resident of Wickliffe for many years, and then Rocky River. He Tom took pride in his yard and enjoyed gardening. Tom could also be found on the golf course or on a road trip to visit family and friends with his loving wife, Mary. He was strong in his Catholic faith and attended Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Collinwood and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Wickliffe for many years. Tom was a very proud papou, grandfather and great grandfather. Spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren always brought a smile to his face. Tom will be missed by all who knew him.
