Theresa O’Rourke

THERESA M. O’ROURKE (nee Carlozzo) age 91, beloved wife of the late Michael J.; loving mother of Michael (wife Sheryl), Maureen Singer (husband Ronald), Patricia Patterson (husband Dennis) and Kathleen Thon (husband Thomas); devoted grandmother of Sean, Maureen and Ryan Thon, Brian (wife Jean), Daniel (wife Hallie) and Molly Patterson, Patrick (Teresa), John (wife Julie), Mark and Michael Singer, Bridgit Thum (husband Jacob) and Bridget O’Rourke and great-grandmother of 9; cherished daughter of the late John  and Marianna (nee Oriti) Carlozzo; dearest sister of Mary Roberts (husband Wilbur, deceased) and the late JoAnn Kessler (husband Walter, deceased) and Sam Carlozzo (wife Patricia); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Theresa was born on December 18,1924, in Cleveland and passed away on July 1, 2016. She was a resident of Euclid since 1945, previously residing in Cleveland Heights. Theresa was a member of St. William Catholic Church in Euclid where she was a member of the Ladies Guild and volunteered at St. William School. She was a member of many golf leagues. She attended Mayfield Heights High School until 11^th grade and graduated from Cleveland Heights High School. Theresa worked as a secretary for Greyhound Bus Lines. She loved golf, gardening, baking, playing Scrabble and was an avid reader. Theresa loved spending time with her family and will be remembered as a kind, generous, independent woman, who will be greatly missed.

Ninth St., Cleveland, OH 44114. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Noel Catholic Church 35200 Chardon Rd., Willoughby Hills, OH 44094. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Theresa at THE CHURCH SATURDAY MORNING 9:00-10:00 a.m. Arrangements by THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS.
