Terri Lynn Drushel

TERRI LYNN DRUSHEL (nee Gadd) age 54, beloved wife for 21 years of Kelly; loving mother of William and Bentley; cherished daughter of Constance A. Gadd (nee Smith) and the late William Gadd Jr.; daughter-in-law of William and Nelda Drushel; dearest sister of Kimberly (Roger Yang) Vilardi, William W. III (Shirley) Gadd, David (Marge) Gadd, Michelle (Lawrence) Keane, and Stephanie (Chris) Colosky; sister-in-law of Bruce (Darrall Hughes) Drushel; dear aunt and great-aunt of many; treasured companion of dog Cody.

Terri was born on February 17, 1968, in Lakewood, Ohio. She was the youngest of six and was surely the sweetest little sister throughout the years. Her determination and drive were qualities to be proud of. She devoted many successful years to her career before retiring as the Director of Risk Management from Steris. Above all things, Terri was most passionate about her family and friends. She looked forward to holiday parties every year, especially their Christmas party and clam bake. She truly enjoyed the Christmas party, whether she was hosting or simply attending, and preparing the clam bake. Between her attention to every detail and Kelly’s amazing cooking the clam bakes will forever be some of the greatest and fondest memories. In May of 2021 Terri was diagnosed with lung cancer. A woman devoted to serving others continued to do just that. Throughout her battle, she kept her contagious smile and kind demeanor. She continued making sure other’s needs were met regardless of how she felt and never once did she complain. On October 22, 2022, Terri passed away, earning the rest she most certainly deserved.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, October 28, 2022, at 11 AM at Church of the Holy Angels, 18205 Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Terri at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) THURSDAY 3-7 PM.
