Terrance Kelly

Terrance J. Kelly, age 84, of Willoughby Hills, OH entered into eternal life July 21, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.  

Terrance was born in Cleveland to the late Thomas and Margaret (nee Corrigan) Kelly on July 1, 1933.He attended Collinwood High School and entered the U.S. Navy in 1948. He proudly served in his country during the Korean Conflict.

 Terrance was an active member of the Pipe Fitters Local 120 union and worked as a pipe fitter for many years.  He was an active reader and spent his free time golfing, and gardening. He loved to grow roses and clematis. In addition, Terrance enjoyed traveling and watching all of our Cleveland sports teams. His family described him as stoic, strong-willed, witty and a “jack of all trades”. Terrance was a proud father of 5 O.S.U graduates.

 Terrance is survived by his children Sheila Woodruff (husband David), Mary Ann Manion (husband David), Sharon O’Malley (husband Thomas). Susan O’Brien ( husband  Matthew), and Ann Dominek (husband Allen); grandchildren David Woodruff, Meredith O’Malley, Jacob Manion, Ava O’Malley, Katherine Dominek, Joseph Manion, Shannon Woodruff, Edward Dominek, Patrick O’Brien and Sean O’Brien; Sister-in-laws Mary Kelly, Jacqueline Kelly; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents Terrance is predeceased by his brothers James Kelly, Thomas Kelly (wife Eileen Kelley) and John Kelly.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Terrance to the Pipe Fitters Local 120 General Office 6305 Halle Dr. Cleveland, OH  44125.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at St. Noel Catholic Church, 35200 Chardon Rd. Willoughby Hills at 10am. Burial following with Military Honors at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Terrance at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) MONDAY 3-5 and 6-8 PM.
