Terezija Teskac

TEREZIJA TESKAC (nee Kurbos) age 86, beloved wife of the late Anton; loving mother of Stan, Annie Sterle, and Felix; devoted grandmother of Danielle Runco (husband Mark) and Frank Sterle (wife Dakota) and soon-to-be a great-grandmother; cherished daughter of the late Franc and Antonija (nee Kovacec) Kurbos; dearest sister of Feliks Kurbos (wife Ana), Angela Tos (husband Franc, deceased), and the late Micka Ciglar, and  Franc Kurbos (wife Stefi, deceased); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Terezija was born in Jursenci, Slovenia on October 3, 1933 and passed away on June 13, 2020. She relocated from Slovenia to Cleveland in 1969, and most recently resided in Euclid for the past 29 years. Terezija worked in maintenance for a cleaning company, and volunteered at St. Augustine Church in Tremont. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and listening to polka music. She is described as fun loving, joyful, mischievous, a prankster, social, funny and witty.  She was caring and devoted to her family and her church, St. Vitus. Terezija will be missed by many.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Terezija to St. Vitus Catholic Church, 6019 Lausche Avenue, Cleveland, OH  44103-1455.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, June 19, 2020 at St. Vitus Catholic Church at 10 AM (MASKS REQUIRED). Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Terezija at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 5-8 PM (MASKS PREFERRED).
