Teresa Krupa

TERESA H. KRUPA (nee Kimak) age 71, loving mother of Craig, Amy Williams, and Alan (wife Kristy); devoted grandmother of Ashley, Amanda, Nickolas, Gabriel, Lillian and Nathan; cherished daughter of the late Marcel and Gertrude (nee Tommer) Kimak; dearest sister of Cherie Anderson (husband Denis), Clara Brown (Randy), Shelly Weaver (husband Gary) and Hank Kimak; dear cousin of Judy Varns; best friend to Maryjane Derocha; special friend Helen Orgavon.

Teresa was born on October 11, 1947 in Chardon, Ohio and passed away on July 14, 2019. She grew up in Thompson, Ohio, graduated from Ledgemont High School and received her LPN in Willoughby. Proudly raised her three children, Craig, Amy, and Alan, on her own. Teresa retired in 2011 as an amazing nurse from Holly Hill Nursing Home. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Orwell since 1984 and was a member of Daughter’s of Mary. Teresa loved riding her bike on the Greenway Bike Trail and camping. She enjoyed reading, walking, spending time with her family and watching Tom Selleck and Johnny Depp movies. Teresa always made birthdays special and kept the family together. Christmas and Easter were special holidays, at Easter Teresa made chocolate bird nests with jellybean eggs. Teresa will be remembered most as a strong, patient, well kept, and affectionate woman who loved unconditionally. She will be dearly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet for the Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 9:30 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church 103 N Maple St, Orwell, OH 44076. Burial following at Montville Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Teresa at THE DeJOHN Funeral Home & Crematory of Chardon (formerly Ritondaro) 126 South St.  (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) WEDNESDAY 4-8 PM.
