Tecla L. Ashdown

TECLA L. ASHDOWN (nee Longo) age 92, beloved wife of the late Robert J., Sr.; loving mother of Robert Jr., James (wife Carol), Pamela Peters (husband Paul), Thomas (wife Diana), Kevin (wife Carol), Barbara, Elizabeth Gundling (husband Michael) and the late Mary Tadaj (husband Ronald); devoted grandmother of 34 and great-grandmother of 19; dearest sister of Rose James (husband Thomas, deceased) and the late Andre Longo (wife Patricia); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Tecla was born on June 26, 1925 in Chicago and passed away on March 27, 2018. Tecla was a resident of Euclid for over 70 years moving from Chicago Illinois. She was a parishioner of Ss. Robert & William Catholic Church for over 70 years and was very faithful to Jesus. Tecla graduated high school in Chicago and proudly cared for her family as a homemaker. She always kept busy and enjoyed investing in the stock market, cooking, and being a seamstress. Tecla was also an avid Cleveland Indians fan. Tecla was loving, kind, generous and prolific. She will be dearly missed by all.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Ss. Robert & William Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Tecla at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) MONDAY 3-8 PM.
