SYLVIA A. (BRETH) VORASKY (nee Martucci) age 89, beloved wife of the late John; loving mother of Lisa Nero (husband Anthony) and Brian Breth (wife Brandy); devoted grandmother of Megan Weichman (husband Kyle), Taylor Hughey, Kylie Nero, Sebastian and Sophia Breth and great-grandmother of Marlee and Kendall; cherished daughter of the late Antonio and Elizabeth (nee Coccaro) Martucci; dearest sister of the late Mary Byrnes (husband Paul deceased), Eleanor Tindiglia (husband Joseph deceased), Grace Sponsky (husband Sylvester deceased), Josephine Martucci, Gloria Pacella (husband Marco deceased), Gilda Byrnes (husband Thomas deceased), Nicholas and Theresa Martucci; dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Sylvia was born and raised in Hastings, Pennsylvania. She was an organized person who excelled as an Administrative Assistant for the URS Engineering Corporation. At home, if she wasn’t cleaning (which she loved to do), you may have caught her dancing or listening to her favorite music by Nat King Cole. With a social personality and great sense of humor, Sylvia greatly enjoyed entertaining family and socializing with friends at the Willoughby Eagles Club. A loving bright spot in her life, grandchildren brought her joy as she delighted them with her amazing story telling abilities. Sylvia passed away on April 6, 2025, leaving behind wonderful memories with all who knew her.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, April 10, 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6850 Mayfield Road, Gates Mills, OH at 10AM. Immediately following the Mass, family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Sylvia at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) THURSDAY 11:30AM-1:00PM.
