Sylvia Intihar

SYLVIA INTIHAR (nee Bogataj) age 95, beloved wife of the late Pavel; loving mother of Helen Lallo (husband Ernie), Sylvia Gliebe (husband Erich), Peter (wife Denise) and the late Josef; devoted grandmother of Joseph Lallo (Maggie), Melissa (Mike) Tighe, Matthew (Megan) Lallo, Michelle (Mike) Elrod, Renee (Bob) Andree, Amanda Ticconi, Raymond Ticconi (Enza), Christine (RJ) Askoff, Paul Intihar, Alaina Intihar, Adam Intihar, Allison (Heath) Johns, Christopher (Hanna) Shaddock and great-grandmother of 11; preceded in death by 8 siblings, all of Slovenia.

 Sylvia was born on April 15, 1922 in Skofja Loka, Slovenia and passed away on July 24, 2017. She was a resident of Mentor for 10 years, formerly of Wickliffe. Sylvia was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Church for 10 years, previously Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Wickliffe. She was a member of Slovenska Pristava Pensioneer and Blue and Gold Star Mother. Sylvia was a homemaker who loved to bake and was an avid gardener. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and making clothing and blankets for all of her family. Sylvia loved to travel back to Europe and Florida. She will be remembered most as a loving, caring, and strong-hearted woman. Sylvia will be dearly missed.

 In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Sylvia to Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, July 28, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 8560 Mentor Ave. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Sylvia at THE ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME, 28890 CHARDON ROAD, WILLOUGHBY HILLS (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
