Sveta Panin

Sveta Panin, 59, passed away on September 4th, 2024. She was born in Kiev, Ukraine, spent her childhood and youth in Minsk, Belarus, and at the age of 31 she came to the United States. She had a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Cleveland State University. She worked for Progressive Insurance for over 20 years and loved programming and the company she worked for. She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved spending time at home with her family and dog, playing card games, watching a show, playing games on the computer and enjoying a glass of red wine. She kept in touch with her family overseas as well, talking to them through Skype and supporting them financially until the very end. She was kind, generous, determined, strong, a fighter that would never give up!

Sveta was the wife of Yuri, mother of Andrew and the late Irene, daughter of the late Vera and Sergey, sister of Alena, aunt of Kate and Igor, friend and co-worker.

Relatives, friends and co-workers are invited to pay respects to Sveta on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024, from 12 Noon until 2 PM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.). Burial following in Knollwood Cemetery.
