SUSAN NOVAK (nee Kopcak) age 98, beloved wife for 47 years of the late William; loving mother of Donald (wife Evelyn) and Joyce Sabula (husband Timothy); devoted grandmother of Mark (wife Dianne), Christopher (wife Kristi), David (wife Barbie), and Loree Gambatesa (husband Darren) and great-grandmother of Jonathon, Adam, Connor, Caden, Matthew, Bryan, Nicholas, and Madison; cherished daughter of the late Andrej and Anna (nee Liscizin) Kopcak; dearest sister of the late Anna, Kate, Helen, and Emilie; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Susan was born on January 17, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away on December 18, 2019. Growing up in the Cleveland area, she lived most of her life in Euclid, and loved attending St. William’s Catholic Church. Sue enjoyed taking care of children, and proudly worked for a daycare where she could help the children learn and play. She relished life and liked to be in the company of others while playing bingo and cooking, as well as spending time alone knitting and bird watching. However, it was her family and grandchildren that gave her the most enjoyment in life. Sue was strong-willed, independent, but most of all a happy soul and for that she will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, December 23, 2019 at St. Anselm Catholic Church at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Sue at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.)  SUNDAY 2-6 PM.
