Susan M. Rae (Beat)

SUSAN M. RAE (nee Beat), age 64 entered into eternal life on June 1, 2013 and joined her beloved late husband Jay L; loving mother of Heidi Birch (Mark), Jeremy, Priscilla Zobler (Adam) and William (Jean); devoted grandmother of Jay, Matthew, Madelyn, Allyson, Amelia, Rachel, Sophia and Jake; cherished daughter of Clarence and the late Marcella (nee Hipp) Beat; dearest sister of Stephen (deceased) and James Beat, Sandra Shaum, Patricia Sullivan, Marcia Fensler, Timothy Beat and Virginia Treace; fond daughter-in-law of Rita (nee Coyne) and the late James Rae; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Sue spent most of her childhood in Norwalk and moved to Mansfield during her high school years. After graduating from Malabar High School, Sue worked as an office clerk at Zagara’s Grocery Store in Cleveland Heights. 10 years ago, she moved to South Euclid. A member of St. Agnes – Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Sue also enjoyed playing Bingo at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church. In her free time, she enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, playing Bingo, watching game shows and collecting snowmen. Her favorite music was anything by Neil Diamond and songs from the 50s and 60s. She will be remembered as a faithful, bubbly, positive woman who was always smiling, and willing to give to others.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 10 AM at St Agnes-Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church 6800 Lexington Ave Cleveland, OH 44103. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Sue at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) WEDNESDAY 3-8 PM and at THE CHURCH THURSDAY MORNING 9:30-10 AM.
