Susan Walker

Susan Ida Walker, 74, daughter of Robert and Leona Walker, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Thursday, October 14, 2021. The eldest of five siblings; Joyce Bennett, Bruce Walker (Meg), Peg Hoffman (Charlie), and Brian Walker. Susan was born in Iowa and raised on a farm where she developed her lifelong love of gardening and deep respect for the environment. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Alan Sharp, and three daughters, Andrea Proctor (James), Danielle Wheeler (Charles) and Katherine Snitzer (Michael) as well as her eight grandchildren; Caroline, Delainy, Elise (Proctor); Lukas, Jackson, Olivia (Wheeler); Killian and Mikah (Snitzer).

Susan will be remembered for her loving heart, generous philanthropy and activism, hardy laugh and love of the outdoors. A memorial service will be held from 2-3pm on Saturday, October 30th, with a reception to follow 3-4:30pm at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Cleveland, 21600 Shaker Blvd, Shaker Heights, OH 44122.
