Susan was born on January 12, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating from West Geauga High School, she worked for Fisher Body Division of General Motors Corp. in Euclid, Ohio. In 1990 Sue relocated to Spring Hill, Tennessee to work at the newly constructed Saturn Plant. She had a love for nature and spent many hours gardening and tending to her plants. Sue also had a knack for baking and cooking and loved teaching her granddaughter Cassidy how to do both. Becoming a grandmother was truly one of life’s greatest gifts. Sue loved her family and the time they spent together, whether they were in the kitchen cooking, shopping, or she was taking visits to see extended family in West Virginia. She loved to tell stories. Sue’s love for her family also extended to animals, especially the Irish Setters she had when she was younger and her daughters Schnauzer puppy, “Merle.” Her family will miss the funny and strong-willed individual they so dearly loved, but her legacy of love for her family will carry on with them.
Susan is survived by her daughter Brittany Cox (husband Joshua), granddaughter Cassidy Jane, and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was proceeded in death by her parents James R. “Bob” and Fannie M. (nee Keffer) Hensley; her brother Christopher J.; grandparents James P. and Vena M. (nee Blevins) Keffer and William J. and Rosa J. (nee Carter) Hensley; and husband James R. Hinman.
