Susan C. Gillich

SUSAN C. GILLICH (nee Hodges) age 68, beloved wife for 28 years of the late Thomas; loving mother of Raymond and Rachel Waugh (husband Zac); cherished daughter of the late Robert and Vera (nee Slosar) Hodges; dearest sister of Helen Scheiner (husband David) and Pat Furth. Susan was a 1969 graduate of Chagrin Falls High School. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Susan to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215.

Susan was born on October 28, 1950 in Chagrin Falls, OH and passed away on July 14, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Chagrin Falls High School in 1969. Susan was an amazing baker and spent many years baking dozens of cookies and pastries. She had her own business, Sweet Temptations, which she ran from home. Her interest in arts gave her the ability to not only create exceptional baked goods but create and decorate many wonderful things. She also enjoyed listening to all types of music, especially Motown, Elvis, and the Blues. However, her children gave her the most enjoyment in life. Susan was a selfless, kind, loving, caring, and patient woman, and for that she will be dearly missed.
